What is Sandpiper Resort besides being home to Rowena’s Inn on the River, Sandpiper Golf Course and The River’s Edge Clubhouse? It’s a natural work of art that still remains relatively hidden in our own backyard. It’s the weekend staycation that feels like you have been vacationing for a week. The landscape? Sandpiper Resort is nestled amidst majestic mountains and ancient, towering 180 ft. Douglas Firs.
Rowena’s Inn is a beautifully restored English-style manor that overlooks the turquoise waters of the Harrison River. The manicured gardens and meandering creeks create an ideal setting for anyone who is need of relaxation to the nth degree. After leaving, our guests feel centered, rejuvenated, and inspired to take on the challenges in their lives. Rowena’s Inn on the River also has a fascinating three-generation story. Situated on land originally granted by Queen Victoria, guests are transported back to a simpler time with aged photos and a water-driven pelton wheel that still generates electricity for the Inn.
The renowned Sandpiper Golf Course is ‘forest golfing’ at its finest with abundant wildlife consisting of eagles, sandpipers and two distinctly different environments – the open fairways alongside the river and the serenity amongst the trees. This 18-hole course is gently-sloped yet with diverse terrain, accommodating golfers of all abilities. Whether it’s the tranquility of the landscape or the historical whispers heard amongst the trees, Sandpiper Resort is the perfect escape to team build. Whether it’s a day-meeting or corporate retreat, we invite you to contact us so that we can customize your stay.
